Naked Flooring approached us for a complete ecommerce website redesign and buildand SEO services. The design had to reflect their high-end branding, focus on quality, and allow secure order placements, payment processing and automation - with the overall aim of increasing conversions and reducing cart abandonment.
Ecommerce website design & build
Before creating concepts, we researched users' purchasing habits to create website personas and user buying journeys. We applied UX design best practices and research to reduce cart abandonment and increase conversions, such as:
User review integration
Clear call to actions
Guest checkout (with one-tick registration)
Simple filtering and search functionality
Minimising number of clicks to purchasing
Clear delivery costs and FAQs
For the designs, we kept a real focus on beautiful imagery, use of white space and simplicity to reflect the high quality brand.
The website was built on Umbraco, which means that the client can easily update the website content thanks to Umbraco's simple content management user experience. The website is fully responsive and has payment gateway integration with PayPal and Sage Pay Direct and secure login (or guest checkout) for quick and easy ordering.
We optimised the new site for search engines, as we do for all our new website developments, and we continue to work with Naked Flooring on search engine optimisation on a monthly basis to drive quality traffic to their site.
